A Boeing 747 operating as United Airlines Flight 811 from Los Angeles to Auckland is above the Pacific Ocean when part of the RH forward fuselage rips off. An electrical short circuit caused the cargo door lock mechanism to fail and the cargo door was blown open by the force of the cabin pressurization. Nine people are ejected from the aircraft; some are still strapped to their seats. The Boeing 747 safely lands at Honolulu without any more loss of life.

Can’t get over how creepy that male flight attendant looks.
wow.. 9 people died and all they cared to talk about was this Kevin Campbell guy… WTF.. FUCKTARDS..
The captain and his crew really did an amazing job at landing the damaged plane. Now that is bravery!
R.I.P to the victims.
not a race, a nationality.
here you can really applaude the pilots
unfortunately the KLM 747 still have cargo doors that open to the outside
I saw it when they were loading them
in Schipol
My uncle is a Kiwi and there fanastic race. I appauld the Campbells for their action and desire for the truth. Worst way to die being sucked out. R.I.P to the victims.
Aviation is Like Women, when everything is going great, its the best thing in the world, but if something goes wrong, Look out!
too much saddness
mirraculous! its amazing the courage pilots have!!!!!!!
That hole is scary!! I thought it was smaller.

Oh yeah! My favorite kind of crash is when everyone dies!!! WOOHOO!!! *Sarcasm*
Yeah! everyone dies! That’s my favourite one too!! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!!
sigh… Guess you’ve never known anyone who has died in an aircrash, huh…
Well I’ve lived for 3 years in New Zealand, and whenever there is a disaster such as an earthquake, They don’t go into much detail on the news unless there was a New Zealander involved. They don’t really care if hundreds of people die, and loads of countries are torn apart, as long as no Kiwis die. The tsunami report was about 3 minutes, 2 and a half of those talking about the 2 Kiwis that died instead of the 300,000 that lost thier lives and the grief, havoc and devastation around thw world =(
haha, dishonest bloody New Zealanders
haha, dishonest bloody New Zealanders
My God…may those lost rest in peace
omg

my dad’s birthday
one of the survivers birthday
and it was the air crash day
I think the Pilot summed it up best; There but for the grace of God, go I. It is the sheer skill and heroics of flight crews that give me the residue of faith I have in the Airline industry. May the victims rest in peace. Thank you for posting!
