I did the titles myself; the audio is from www.airdisaster.com The line “somebody call Cleveland?” was triggered by two mayday calls on another radio channel. They’re not audible in this recording, but can be heard at the Wikipedia article: en.wikipedia.org Upon checking the written transcript from the NTSB report of the crash, the first line is: “Good morning Cleveland, United ninety-three is with you at three five oh, intermittent light chop.”

@TheRgmproductions No, this is a recording of the radio traffic at Cleveland Center. As far as I know the black boxes haven’t been released from any of the planes, and I don’t think the radio recordings are available for the other three, though the NTSB reports of the crashes have transcripts included.

@mikefan09 Believe it or not, the communications systems aren’t nearly that high-tech. It’s just analog radio, like a CB in a truck. That’s why the aircraft identify themselves by callsign when they radio the center.
jeremy dont they have something that identifies audio by which plane it’s coming from? i mean they should have that they wud’ve known exactly which planes were hijacked straight away. i bet now they can have live video feed into a cockpit so control centers can see wots going on inside a plane. and we should have special forces trained air marshalls skilled in anti terror combat on all us flights and all flights coming over airspace even if its just for a little while. did 93 off transponder?
Now, i was watching Discovery Channel, and there was a report on this. The part that made me really sad is that in the real recording, at the VERY** end, you hear some sort of banging noise, and than you hear a bunch of screams and than the recording stops. People say that, the passengers got smart and realized the terrorist didnt have any weapons so they tried to over run the plane. They used a food cart to bash open the door and try to beat the terrorists. But unfortunetly, they wer to late.
