Didn’t know about the first class lounges, but just going to the regular private lounges is well worth the money when one has a long layover.

I think the ticket fees goes with the lounge….
In DXB airport they offer free catering to passengers flying with emirates (all classes) it’s like a lounge but you need to be an emirates traveller.
If i flew emirates or first class/business class on airlines iw would ask for 100 ice creams and sell them! Lol!
I’m really like taht even in airplanes i would sneak out the magazines, blankets etc on cathay pacific and on flight they offer free ice cream, noodles etc whenever and how many.

I have to say Frankfurt is probably my least favorite decent-sized international airport – the low ceiling, the confusing in signs and directions are enough for me. But then again, I never get to make it to the First Lounge – yet probably over 70% of the people haven’t anyway so … I’d much rather flying thru Munich if I was to fly Lufthansa.

Great post.. Many airlines are going “exclusive” nowadays.. Qatar airways also has a dedicated Terminal for J and F class passengers (and I think you are driven to your aircraft in a BMW 7 series if you are F or 5 series if you are J).

think so, for ticket cost around $10 000 a $25 hair cut and restaurant should be free lol

I’ve bought three of Mr. Greenberg’s books and I’ve learn a lot about “secrets” of hotels, booking hotel rooms, airline tickets, etc. I enjoyed watching his t.v. documentaries and his apprearances on the Today Show on NBC. My wife and I frequently travel, his travel tips saved us some money. I recently saw him in a book signing in San Francisco, Ca. and Mr. Greenberg was gracious enough to have his picture taken with me. Thanks!

The Lufthansa first class terminal is truly wonderful.

For 120,000 miles on United Airlines Mileage Plus, you can redeem a free first class ticket on Lufthansa to Frankfurt and experience the first class terminal.

If there are lots of first class passengers on your flight, be sure to tell your personal assistant at the first class terminal that you would like to go by yourself in a seperate car to your plane (otherwise they would put you into a Mercedes van with the other passengers).
