This aircraft is the first civilian-operated Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker in the world. Its first post-restoration flight, seen here, took place on 10 December 2009, in Rockford, Illinois, USA. It is registered N131SU. The outside air temperature for this flight was 7 degrees Farenheit, or minus 14 Celsius. The wind was 250/15. The takeoff roll on Runway 25 was approximately 1100 feet, and the pilots used a climbout angle of approximately 25-30 degrees to avoid accelerating through their FAA-waivered speed limit in Class D airspace. Flight duration was approximately 45 minutes. This aircraft and its sister ship have both been sold since this video was made. No further information is available about the sale at this time. Эти два самолета были проданы. Мы не можем предоставить дополнительную информацию на этот раз.

Owned and operated by another wall street criminal trying to spend his bounty.
Hа Hа this plane from Ukraine and it is sold for a long time already. The USA buys old Soviet technologies Jak-141 (F-35) Su-27….)))
so jealous!!!!
fantastic!
@RacerXGTO Если лицо или частная авиакомпания имеет деньги, он может купить что-нибудь, должно быть хорошо……….If a person or a private aviation company has money, they can buy anything, must be nice
This thing isn’t a bargain for $5 million dollars; the thing burns around 1,200 gallons an hour, (that is without afterburners) and with Jet A at around $5 dollars, that’s $6,000 dollars an hour in fuel alone and that doesn’t include aircraft maintenance. Plus, where are you going to get additional parts for this thing?
@mauricioalfredo83 And yet Russia builds the PAK-FA to counter the F-22, a plane which according to you is crap. why would they go out of their way if we can’t “build fighters” and make a direct counter to the F-22A? oh right, your sentence made no sense and made yourself look like an idiot.
Looks like your little fanboyism of a country just backfired, XD.
RED BULL bought this Su-27 ! ! ! ! ! !
@RacerXGTO you’re so retarded.
@RacerXGTO но при том почему-то не своего государства
opps wrong board!!
@OlderG0ds But their woman are so fine!!!
The first X-29 was taken aloft on 14 December 1984 from Edwards AFB with Grumman’s Chief Test Pilot Chuck Sewell at the controls.[1] With that flight, the X-29 became the second jet-powered aircraft to fly with forward swept wings (with the Nazi Germany-era Junkers Ju 287, which first flew in 1944, being the first.
@uopride Америка, последние fronteir свободы, где гражданин может пользоваться государства товаров
вот тебе страна США, простой гражданин (наверно миллиардер) может себе позволить купить и наслаждаться полетами.
@mauricioalfredo83 Wait, what?
Sexy….I want one!
yeahhh civilians….mabye usa learn how to build some fighters instead get f22 XD
@stefa4k0 it costs around the price of an F-15, probably these were first gen SU-27s, that is why they sold them.
@Norgesmann well, of course, the same goes for a SU-27 falkner, you cant’t import one to Russia.
@harris3693 I´m not saying you can´t get one, I´m saying you can´t import it to the US.
@Norgesmann what about from the saudis, if u have the cash, u get it!!!
@harris3693 You would not get an import license, sorry
The two SU27s are sold, but you can still get an Alphajet or L29…
I ll buy one or two for my self
how much runway do you need to stop this thing?
