    I think being an flight attdent in the 70s and 80s and 90s would be an blast now it seems boring

    Outstanding! When Air travel was something you saved your money for and thought of as a privilege! Something America has forgotten is the training their Flight Attendants must endure to win their “Wings”. Bless them all!!!

    Not likely since the movie is not shown on your favorite site!!!!

  6. CruzerToo says:

    Yes, it has been terrible to witness the destruction of our industry and to see the degradation of what were the best jobs in the world. Thanks for all you do for the profession. The tribute is richly deserved.

    Love it!
    Thanks for sharing. It’s getting hard up there
    in the sky. The job ain’t what it used to be;
    but this made me feel proud.

    The opening photo showing the L-1011 flying toward the new moon?….I have the original oil painting! It’s called “Night Coach” and it was painted by a Delta Captain….Neil Gatewood.

    Missy,

    I’m glad you enjoyed seeing your mother on my Tribute video. I’m sure this brings back fond memories for her as well.

    Thanks for you nice comments. I’m glad you were treated so well on Delta. The video was meant to pay tribute to all flight attendants throughout the world. My wife was a flight attendant for Eastern Air Lines back in the early sixties.

    Happy Retirement,

    I retired June 15, 2009 from Delta and my Father had 29 years as a Pilot. This is a excellent tribute to a group of people who are sometime over looked. The Flight Attendants are the face of Delta everyone sees and they do a awesome job. Happy Birthday Delta. I went to work at ASA two days after retiring, i got to be in the airline business.

    I was informed today by Mr. Anderson, Delta CEO that a link to this video would be posted on the company website, Delta Net, and a copy would be placed in the Delta Heritage Museum. I’m honored and extremely happy the flight attendants will get the recognition they deserve.
