    Yes we are in the process of doing what’s called a refresh on all of our 747′s. We’re putting in the leather seats, television screens and redoing the interior all new.

    It is because of the carriers and intl hubs both and yes it is very silly. we’ve listened to the conversations across the radios and even the atcs agree that it would also relieve tower and hub traffic. Efficiency isn’t any part of this equation.

    Atlanta is a major hub. I live in Nashville and we went to Hawaii by way of Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, and then Honolulu

    yes its a prior NW plane… everything about it is still NW even the tail number.. only thing different is the paint… pilots and ground crew even flight attendants are all NW employees…. even after the merger only prior NW employees handle that plane

    Atl harsfield Jackson is extremely huge, thought jfk was huge but after i landed there back in march I was amazed how huge this airport is
