I think it was because of how badly mangled and strewn all over the place the bodies of the passengers and crew ended up. You couldn’t walk anywhere around the crash site without stepping in a puddle of liquid human remains …nasty…

I don’t think that paint scheme is correct on the USAIR plane, they used that in the 1980′s, but I’m pretty sure by 1994 they had moved on to another paint scheme.

I find this so disturbing. I flew on USAir just a couple days before this accident in 1994 from Tampa to Boston. Gives me chills…
the re-enactors are always such bad actors…. that pilot of USair 427 sounds like he talks like myself, I would probably say “what the hell is this?” too, but thats not at all how I would say it. Its more of an expression of disbelief than anything else.
