Ok you asked for it and I am going to be rude, First the concorde is not half french half british, its is an entire french project assembled in france even the name CONCORDE is french, because of politics agreement to secure sufficient funds the french subcontracted the now defunct British Aircraft Corporation just to keep the british perception high enough to secure British subsidies flowing into the project, Its all a smoke curtain to get away with the British tax money..
