    Did they died?

  5. kevintheartist says:

    @scopeartist2

    Yes. Around 75.

  6. leviathan94xxx says:

    damn they should have de iced again but yeah its only to point out mistakes when ur comfortably sitting behind ur computer

  7. leviathan94xxx says:

    y do they always wait to make the right descisions: captain throttles up but its too late…. WELL NO SHIT WHY DIDN’T THEY DO IT SOONER

  8. leviathan94xxx says:

    decrease angle of climb , throttle up

  9. CUjoBitME says:

    @TNBASSIN1 It seems to me that your a faggot XD

  10. TNBASSIN1 says:

    @ScenicHD

    It seemed to me from the video that when they realized they were stalling the nose of the aircraft was pitched to high. Applying max throttle at that point would have just created more drag at the nose resulting in a critical stall. A 737 is not a fighter jet.

    @FlyGuyFRA

    On July 16, 1951, Qantas VH-EBQ crashed in Papua New Guinea and all the passengers and crews on board were died.

  12. Blazingspitfire says:

    @scopeartist2 only a few survived. out of like seventy people

  13. scopeartist2 says:

    were any people killed

  14. fanofthefett1995 says:

    luck

  15. fanofthefett1995 says:

    will wheaton

  16. ScenicHD says:

    they should had applied max throttle the second they knew they were stalling

  17. bigtones05 says:

    broken bones in 67 places…Jesus how do you survive from that?

  18. FSXDC10 says:

    @sonicfan1996 I agree and since the whole fact that the plane was nose up adding thrust would have made it climb higher and pitch up if the pilots couldn’t control it in time. Basically it still would have stalled.

  19. macandrewes says:

    You can hear the CVR at planecrashinfoDOTcom (WARNING! This recording can be very upsetting to listen to)

  20. macandrewes says:

    CVR transcription of the crash below.

  21. macandrewes says:

    16:00:39 [SOUND OF STICKSHAKER STARTS AND CONTINUES UNTIL IMPACT]
    16:00:41 TWR Palm 90 contact departure control.

    16:00:45 CAM-1 (recording starts here)Forward, forward, easy. We only want five hundred.

    16:00:48 CAM-1 Come on forward….forward, just barely climb.

    16:00:59 CAM-1 Stalling, we’re falling!

    16:01:00 CAM-2 Larry, we’re going down, Larry….

    16:01:01 CAM-1 I know it!

    16:01:01 [SOUND OF IMPACT]

    God bless Wheaton, Petit and all the victims of ‘Palm 90.’

  22. jazzguitar2010 says:

    This is why protocol and procedures must be followed in air/space travel. The cost of errors are just too high.

  23. donzx10 says:

    if they had only de-iced before take-off!

  24. NJofBaja says:

    His heroism was not rash. Aware that his own strength was fading, he deliberately handed hope to someone else, and he did so repeatedly. On that cold and tragic day, Arland D. Williams Jr. exemplified one of the best attributes of human nature, specifically that some people are capable of doing “anything” for total strangers.

  25. NJofBaja says:

    Well Radina you displayed your ignorance clearly before. I imagine Edmonton67′s question was rhetorical. The world knows how dumb you are and yes I imagine you are ‘always so stupid.’

    “You” is a three letter word as is “are.” Glad you saved yourself four whole keystrokes. Ignorant AND lazy! Great combination.

    I don’t blame you though, it was your parents fault; you are a reflection of them and they must be awful people.
