Evacuated Tube Transport ™

50 times more transportation per kWh than electric cars or trains at 1 the cost. An open consortium of licensees (et3.com Inc.) collectively owns this IP. Our mission is Space Travel on Earth ™ where car sized capsules accelerated by electric power coast on maglev in an automated tube network without air friction. Existing skills, capacities, and materials are sufficient for implementation. Please join us at www.et3.com and start building a better future for us all! 3D Graphics by …

Dude, I hope something like this gets built more than anyone… but don’t fool yourself into thinking that faster transport will address the root issues that cause conflict on this planet…

  2. sinticlase says:

Ett will exist in a short matter of time, it’s not a question of resources or money, but of global human consciousness! Let it be called, The peace on earth tube

  3. ArgusPlexus says:

He is thinking that way to easily justify it in the eyes of those who would raise questions of cost.

  4. Whoisafraidofreality says:

You have stop thinking in terms of money and the economy man

    Great video

  5. djnero78 says:

    prone to terror & accidents
It would never make the news m8, as long as the oil barrens are still in control

  6. EpisodeWatcher says:

Well actually the “news” won’t listen… Every time someone tries to even talk about ufology they all turn to skeptics and just start laughing.

Get huge groups of people, thousands. Migrate to the white house and demand the truth. I’ve never seen anything like this tried, and if everyone truly cares as much as they say I don’t see why it’s not done.

As for me, I am only 16 years of age. I can’t do much, but that doesn’t mean I’m not going to try.

  7. sideslide23 says:

this Reminde me of James Bond The Living Day Light, and The World Is Not Enough whare they got pipe travel.

  8. Catacipige says:

some probably have…what makes you think the news will listen?

  9. EpisodeWatcher says:

Why aren’t you guys taking this to the News, the white house?!

This ideal could change the world as we know it,

  10. Martinit0 says:

your ETT patent expires in 2019, so bye bye profits !

  11. CryoSporeFan043 says:

    LOL! Futurama, anyone?

  12. pseast says:

You all should watch zeitgeist 2. What “terrorists” are, who invented the term, and if they really exist is mentioned somewhere in there. A lot of other great theories which are most likely true are also mentioned.

  13. EvacuatedTubes says:

It is important to remember that ALL transportation is prone to terror. The most vulnerable vehicle to terror (used to be called hijacking) is the automobile in public parking lots! The incidence of automobile terror is more than 10 times greater than jet aircraft terror.

ETT is less risk of terror than trains and aircraft. (our detailed research indicates it will be less than 1/30th the risk of terror than high-speed-rail for instance.

Terror < than 1% of transport death

  14. EvacuatedTubes says:

I hope we can agree that it is best to focus our efforts to improve transportation safety to doing things well within our control, like: eliminating the chance of human error via automation (this alone will more than triple transportation safety!); the next thing to improve transport safety is to absolutly control the conditions of travel to the greatest extent possible — thus eliminating the risk of accidents.

Please keep in mind that less than 1% of transportation death is from terrorism.

  15. q123477 says:

Not trying to slam you but contrary to popular belief, terrorism is a war tactic just like guerrilla warfare. We used it before the revolution to scare the British. Remember how we tared and feathered tax collectors? Its just in their case, the ideology they use to warrant their use of this particular war tactic is to show praise to their God by removing infidels, which in the Koran (I think I got the right one) it clearly states that killing is not fine for any reason.

  16. greyonednb says:

i was thinking about this too , but there must be solutions for that too

  17. GoldieTalon says:

A.S.- love your brain, but here I must disagree with you.

There would be plenty of terrorism, remember, terrorism is idealology based, not economic. the person blowing himself up isnt doing it because of carbon emmissions, its because he thinks killing somehow makes god happy.
imagine what a few well placed bombs on the backbone could do. Mass transit systems are a target for terrorists (israel buses 4 ex)

Carbon nanotubes(buckyballs) for the tube material may decrease the threat a bit.

  18. Ihaveamadkr3w says:

this reminds me of futurama lol, that means you could live in newyork and go to school in china haha

  19. EvacuatedTubes says:

    Josue,
You are correct that earth movement, growth, or shrinkage is an important consideration for ETT. The patent document discloses several ways to mitigate this issue – such as expansion joints. Thank you for your pertinent comment.

  20. Josue0486 says:

small problem with a monorail type traveling system that is connect on two or more different countries…what about the continual expansion of the planet Earth?

It is my understanding that the Planet Earth, along with almost every other planet, is growing in size thus causing the continents to shift further apart from each other…An intercontinental tube traveling system seems to be asking for disaster

  21. academianon says:

    Fascinating!

  22. jaguarclaw says:

Alienscientist. This sort of sounds like a modern day Tesla idea. Sounds big, crazy and most people will think its impossible. But in the end it will probably have huge benefits for the whole world.

  23. cue7979 says:

they need tax money for fuel oil. the issue is not co2.

  24. mockingarab says:

Needs massive investing, but all the money is locked in oil based transport, the shift to this technology will take decades and a lot of sacrifice.

  25. rifleman0007 says:

we either support this idea or choke in Co2… you choose people..
