Yep many of them are British and some may have worked for BA before.
cameras don’t transmit wireless signals like phones and other things. Cameras and Camcorders take photos and videos not send them wirelessly.

You should watch it again. It specifically says “TRANSMITTING electronic devices”.
It is basic common sence that for take-off and landing, all electronic devices must be switched off.
Which means you shouldn’t use and record a video cam when flight is about to take-off or landing.
