Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker warbird N131SU first flight
This aircraft is the first civilian-operated Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker in the world. Its first post-restoration flight, seen here, took place on 10 December 2009, in Rockford, Illinois, USA. It is registered N131SU. The outside air temperature for this flight was 7 degrees Farenheit, or minus 14 Celsius. The wind was 250/15. The takeoff roll on Runway 25 was approximately 1100 feet, and the pilots used a climbout angle of approximately 25-30 degrees to avoid accelerating through their FAA-waivered speed limit in Class D airspace. Qantas long haul In-flight experience
This travel report is about my journey from Germany to Australia. Here some more details: Frankfurt – London (British Airways A319) London – Bangkok – Sydney (Qantas B747-400) Sydney – Brisbane (Qantas B767-300) Brisbane – Bundaberg (Qantas Dash The whole journey took almost 2 days – sitting in the (to be honest not very comfortable) Economy class of Qantas. The food was ok but the seats and especially the entertainment system were not appropriate for such a long flight. Vdeo of the return flight coming soon so stay tuned!
