Shame on Paula Deen. So she was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. She hid it from the public for three years. Okay, life happens. But to buddy up with a pharmaceutical company to promote a drug that many of her diabetic viewers can barely afford is going to far. If she thinks diabetes is bad, wait till she screws up her thyroid by taking Victoza. When that happens, how long will she wait to announce that to the public? Karma will be a bitch.
Paula Deen has been “battered” in stupidity and poor judgment, then “deep fried” in a greasy, oily pit of money-hungry greed.
I like Bourdain. I like Deen. But I hate it when people judge others when they haven’t walked one day in their shoes. There is no “one” way to react to a lifetime health diagnosis as serious as diabetes. I wonder how Deen will react when Bourdain ends up with cirrhosis of the liver.
Leave Paula Deen alone she’s a great cook it’s not her fault that people die cause of eating fatty foods it’s the peoples decision. Im a nutritionist and I now everything about food
@BillKiernan Inuits are practically carnivores, you also have to worry about vitamin C to absorb plant based Iron as well as Vitamin D. No I do not mean read a book that has information that I like in it and agree with. My body fell apart because a vegan diet didn’t work for it. Not EVERYONE can go vegan, there are people who try to do it and get cancer, believe what you want I used to be narrow minded as well…
