Backpacking & Climbing in Ladakh, India

This is a video slideshow of a 5 week backpacking & climbing trip through Ladakh, India (Jammu & Kashmir province). First part of the trip was a trek from Darcha to Padum over 5000m+ passes through the heart of the remote Himalayan kingdom of Zanskar. Next stop was the town of Leh from which we undertook several side trips, eg a climb of 6120m Stok Kangri and a ride on a scooter up the world’s highest motorable road. Overall an incredible journey through India’s unknown ‘little Tibet’.

Ladakh is amazing! Specially as you have done if one takes the road trip from Manali to Leh. The road is open only for around 3 months in summer. Looks like you have been to Manali and those furry rabbits :) for a picture.
