Since the eruption, skies have been quite clear, even though I’m in the states. Its also been quiet. Its really nice. Maybe its time to look at other modes of transport. Like rail and boat. So nice without the contrails. I hope Katla erupts. I think nature is trying to tell us to stop polluting the skies with smogliners.

can satellites in space see through the volcanic ash.and could this ash cloud be a security concern.satellites probably watch for unusual activities on the ground.imagine someone thinking about transporting nuclear or military materials under the cloud haze that the satellites might miss.
