I don’t know what happened here. But this happened on my Air Canada plane ride to London, England in December 6th, 2007 from Toronto. At 3:15 sec he says “f’in white people”. I personally believe that another passenger somehow provoked or encouraged this persons paranoid behaviour. What is important is that everybody arrived safely. I am no medical doctor so I have no idea what this man was going through, but I feel that he seemed more concerned for his own safety? I think he was scared. I think it’s a very fascinating phenomenon. My partner and I decided we should videotape this in the interest of sharing the experience we went through on this plane with those interested. Something similar happened on a flight from Honolulu-Kahului like 17 years ago. We were taxiing out to the runway when the plane lurched forward and that’s when I realized that we had stopped moving. People started turning their heads around and we saw a passenger jump out of their seat and grab their chest…. the passenger was hyperventilating because he was terrified of flying. This stuff happens.
I suffer panic attacks, but not to this degree and never would I manifest behaviour such as this on a plane.

I have panic attacks, and it’s not dangerous, but very scary. If someone have panic attack, is bad thing just laugh, (cromicus and others)

I will bet its young male 20 somethings who write all the racist/ignorant comments. If you have ever had a panick attack you would have sympathy for him and realise you can’t help it and its not something you ask for in life. He is probably aware of his condition and got on the plane anyway which is very hard to do if you think it can trigger it. Panick attacks ruin lives and immature little boys write childish comments.

Panick attacks are terrifying. You feel totally disconnected from reality feels like you in a dream and you’re brain is racing at a million miles an hour and it feels like you’re headed down a dark tunnel of death and going to die any second. Not great!
