FARKING THAI AIRLINES, 13 hours from Bangkok to London, NO ENTERTAINMENT… not one screen on one seat, and not even a big screen either.

  3. jem007in says:

    @annoyedwithsignup have you tried Emirates?

  4. blUdz18 says:

Air New Zealand has a far superior service to Qantas. Especially long haul! Its no suprise ANZ was voted the airline of the year award last year.

  5. annoyedwithsignup says:

Air New Zealand are a wonderful airline. Having flown with a number of airlines I can really only place Singapore Airlines above them – and only because they’ve got fancier gizmos and things on board. The actual service and personality of the attendants is much nicer on Air NZ.

    love it!

  7. Trickme10 says:

@mgjoyce i agree the service is great but….quantas is cheaper lol

We have flown from London to Auckland twice in the last 2 years with Air New Zealand. They have been great, couldn’t have asked for better service especially with 2 infants.

I honestly LOVE this ad. This is when they made watch-able adverts.

  14. 200811667 says:

    that is so cute

  15. PacificNemesis says:

Also, I wouldn’t know in the last two years because I haven’t flown them since.

  16. PacificNemesis says:

I think many would agree with me though, but yes it is a matter of opinion, and it doesn’t really matter now, it comes down to who has the best service. Emirates is fantastic along with Singpore airlines. I’ve never personally flown Qantas so can’t comment on that sorry. I still feel in comparison they aren’t that good thought, but just an opinion.

    cheesy but funny

  20. Ansett76 says:

I agree…i am betting they have never flown with them, just sour grapes over the Ansett f#$@K up. Times and management have changed since then.

  21. Ansett76 says:

Matter of opinion, Air NZ has really got its act together under the new management team…..have a look at how they have changed the culture and morale of staff…..I mean what other management team would spend a day a month working every job in their corporation? Gotta admire them for that….Qantas management should pull their nose outta the air (and their head outta their arses) and take some tips.

To be a Kiwi and deciding to fly Qantas over Air NZ is bad enough, but to find out at Heathrow that it is a B.A operated Qantas flight to Bangkok, is just taking the piss , the worst 12 hours of my life. If i book a flight with the Airline, i expect to fly with the Airline. Never taking that gamble again. Air New Zealand …… Tu Meke!

  23. brettv8 says:

I think its quite amazing that such a small country really has it together enough to have its own airline with a good modern fleet, I haven’t flown with Emeriates or anything but lets face it we are not the richest flashest country, just keeping it real.
