Actually, Borat made his movie years after this plane crash. So it wasn’t him. But it might have been one of his many brothers, possibly Boruk, Morat or Kazbak.

I don’t know how big of a problem it would be to install an altimiter at the engineers console but I bet that had he had one he may have been able to avert this accident by pointing out to the pilot that he was flying too low.

Although this episode is fantastic, I rated this video as 1 star simply because it is stretched in one dimension (vertically, in this case).
That is a ridiculous problem, and there is absolutely no excuse for it.
My new policy is that with any YouTube videos I find, if they are stretched in one dimension, I will rate them as 1 star regardless of how good they otherwise are.
It looks awful when a video is stretched. It completely destroys the immersion of the video, among other things.
I remmember when I was in 5th grade is when this happened and my classmate Saad Hassan was on the Saudi airline returning from the summer holidays. I was totally shocked to hear the news.
i have travelled thru air kazakhstan, it was oneof the worst airlines. it was closed in yr 2002. no they have Air astana, as chief carrier. its much better and safer. i think so.
