    @125RTY WOW!….. I thought that absolutely ALL passenger aircraft were required to have a ground proximity warning system…. I’ve been reading up and to my relief I discovered that now they have equipped the a320′s with them… I mean c’mon!, I guess the system isn’t one of the basic instruments, but why did they think they don’t need it??

  16. 125RTY says:

    @Plamen2007 damn! Holy cr**. i know now why it didn’t sound. this plane was not equipped with it. the airbuses were not required to carry this system. how is this for a kick in the teeth?

  17. Plamen2007 says:

    @125RTY Yeah I was thinking the same thing…. Why didn’t the terrain alarm sound?

  18. 125RTY says:

    @h2835
    What do you mean “(in europe it is usually not the case) “?

  24. h2835 says:

    @dacianus
    Usually you can only fly an aircraft/plane at night if:
    a, it is equipped for it (in europe it is usually not the case) and
    b, if it has a landing site with sufficient lights to land on and take off from…

  25. dacianus says:

    wtf they search the crash site with torches like in prehistoric , maybe the helicopters was to expensive…….
