These days, most incidents requiring an emergency landing dont cause any casualties at all.
The burst of flames you see in the video is the part of the wing shearing off and exploding, not the fuselage itself on fire.
Yeah!! unbelivable watching the crash you would not believe only 3 people had died that has to be the lowest number of casualties in air crashes
airbus is a peice of shit always knew even before seeing this !!! fuck airbus
I find it remarkable only 3 people died in that crash. Regardless of what when wrong its still amazing all 130 people didnt die.
The French aviation industry is about as Kosher as a sausage sandwich. You’ve got Air France, Airbus, Accident Investigation and the government all in one bag. Just look at the concerns of the victim’s families of AF447
I think what should have been done was the pilots should have done a flyover of the airfield first then done the demonstation at least they would have been familiar with the airfeild.
Regardless of the flaws of the fly-by-wire system, any pilots should know better to risk hundreds of lives to wow the crowd on the grass field below. He should take the safer tarmac long runway instead and avoid the whole drama.
Agreed. It was reckless on his behalf. But for Airbus not to get any of the blame is very unfair to him, and to pilots everywhere.
I agree, Airbus’s fault, but I also think it was gross negligence for a pilot to take an aircraft full of pax at 100ft with the nose up, the thrust levers at flight idle and the autothrottle disengaged.
A digital clock on the FDR should not be out by 5s, that certainly merits further investigation.
It may have been a conspiracy, it may not, but in either case jailing this man wont do society any good.
Me too. Airbus had a lot invested in the newly developed A320 and couldn’t risk losing good public relations with this accident. Like the guy said: it couldn’t have come at a worse time for Airbus.
im on the pilots side.
