Air Car by Guy Negre on Beyond Tomorrow

Author: admin | Files under Air Deals Video

Guy Negre of MDI Air Car engine that runs on compressed air. Emissions are only filtered air that’s cleaner than outside air. 300 bars of pressure in carbon-fibre & kevlar air tanks. Car can travel at 110 km/hr and has a 150 km driving range. Refilling can be done by plugging in at home or at a special high-pressure air station. Dual-energy models use small amounts of bio-fuels that can extend the range to over 1400 kms. Pollution free vehicle that produces zero emissions. When the car stops at traffic lights, the engine stops so no energy is lost because there’s no idling. Go to www.catvolution.com for more information. There are many more 2008 New York Auto Show videos with MDI’s OneCAT at ca.youtube.com

Um ide just like to point out to all these people saying that fully electric cars are better. where do you think the electrizity to charge these cars comes from??. it comes from power stations wich usually run on highly polluting coal or other fuels. yeh so much better…….

Another problem we have is batteries.

does anyone know how much electricity the youtube servers require? a lot… just to let u all know :P
and electric cars are gonna be the car of the future… the only problem we have right now is how we save the energy.
the power output of an electric car is usually higher than the one of a normal car.
just taking the eliica as an example ^^…
anyways solar energy rulez and my computer runs on air aswell ;)

Dude, don’t be an asshat. I’m saying that it would be more effective for it to be an electric car and to have a compressed air engine as a backup, not that this is better than a fully electric vehicle. I agree completely that a full plug-in electric is much better than a hybrid, but I just wanted to point out that their design is ridiculous as an engine only – they should make it a hybrid if they insist of pushing compressed air! Oh shit, I forgot I shouldn’t feed the flame trolls. Sorry!

OMG … why are there soo many stupid guys like you who obviously have no clue about anything. And now they want to discuss energy problems. Hahaha … an engine to charge the batteries to power the car. It is like exchanging euros for yuan, yuan for dollars, dollars for euros. As you lose money with every transaction, you lose energy with every physical transformation process. The most stupid idea I have heard for long. Of, forgot, we are on youtube, there are many more stupid guys like you.

I think that they should think about turning this into a plug-in electric-air hybrid instead of an air-gas hybrid – just like the Fisker Karma. These vehicles rely more on batteries than the engine, and that engine is only present to recharge the batteries. In other words, the engine doesn’t run the wheels directly. I think it would probably be much more effective this way.

I think people is wasting time with air/water motors, the effort should be directed to free energy electric motors, i think that is the solution for many kinds of pollution.
By the way, it have indeedly have positive points too, like the non-pollution, but it is very noisy.

I like arguing on youtube as much as the next guy,but how did this video end up causing an argument? I want one of these cars. There is some great technology coming out of France now.I need mine to be four wheel drive please.

    too good to be true

the oil companies wont allow that

Hoooo! My man has just discovered hot water and he is requesting a nobel prize. What a fucker! So you expect oil companies to just let their billions dollars investment go away? Even you would not allow that to occur if you were at their position, so shut up. It is not a matter of conspiracy but mostly competitive business and innovative concepts. One market is maturing, oil, and alternative are about to replace them, innovation. Evolutionary process my friend, can’t be stopped. Read a book!

You got it all wrong-I am NOT against progress, NOT against new inventions but I am just saying that there will always be the iol @mafia@ who will, at least maintain status quo, or even more, they will try to stop any other source of (clean) energy. Look man, my time is too prescious to waste it on some morron who has no goasl in life but to argue for whatever reasons on whatever topic. Jerk off and get a life!

You seriously need to read a few books my friend; evolution is a process, we cannot put a hold to it, regardless of the billions of dollars invested. Whether you believe it or not, environmental cars are the way of the future and even the oil companies are already starting to upgrade and invest in that direction. They are obviously smarter than you.

Your ignorance is clearly shocking my friend. Let me fill up your empty brain a bit: You said it will be IMPOSSIBLE to implement environmental cars because of OIL COMPANIES. Oil companies represent the status quo, just like the church and the royal families a few centuries ago. No one could imagine that they would ever be toppled, just like you think oil companies will never allow air cars to ruin their businesses. Well, follow the history link and reach a conclusion.Who always wins? Progress!!

I think you are quite retarded because you cannot put sentences together. I have nothing with the qeen you are talking about. What church are you talking about? You have some serious issues, man/woman/middle-aged bustard.

And, even to support your argument, many companies have been taking a look at that technology and the products are up for sale very soon. If the entire world was thinking like you, we would still be under the hard hand of the church and the queen, motherfucking retard!!

What an asshole; if everyone was following your logic, solar panel wouldn’t exist, wind turbine, even diezel. It might get hard to implement new techs, but anytime and sooner enough, they always become the norm because they are just part of the natural scientific process. It is not a matter of faith but human evolution. You can’t imprison science or knowledge eternally you dumb fuck.

Pessimistic loser. Powerful institutions have always sought to instaure a status quo on evolutionary discoveries but always failed. Their current attempt to shut new alternative energy will fail as well. I believe in new science and I think that sooner or later, they will become normative.

Forget about these inventions! NO ONE from the OIL LOBBIES will ever allow this and such inventions to be put in production! NEVER! Or, as these lobbies have done so many times, they will sneak and buy the company for big bucks. Better to spend a couple of millions than to lose trillions of dollars. Or, I would not be surprised if these inventors dissapear, or get killer under unexplained circumstances.

remarklable…but I don’t think that oil companies are going to allow such a thing to expand…they would be out of business….
