Did the pilots “breach” the minima?
@lavakava Not for nothing; however, a localizer is NOT required to land. If weather does not permit you to land properly without one, like with limited visibilty, the aircraft should be rerouted to the next airport large enough to handle said aircraft with proper equipment and visibility.

and the ‘safe’ pilot was a stupid ass. if i were a pilot, if i don’t see the runway and even if i’m 1 percent unsure, i wouldn’t descend.

because there was such a “lurch” and Bang that they came down because they were forced to. If you watch HOOK you see Peter Pan’s son bounces a baseball on the cabinet where the masks are and they come down because he hits it too hard. Kind of like that!
